our Shadow Wash Finish

Our Driftwood base is a soft, natural timber-inspired tone—subtle, matte, and uniform. In its raw form, the surface presents gentle carving lines and grain impressions, but these details remain understated. The base colour keeps the texture quietly present rather than visually pronounced. This makes the unstained Driftwood perfect for clean, minimal installations where a light, contemporary look is desired.

The Stained version in our Shadow Wash Finish dramatically transforms the same texture. The darker stain settles into carved arcs, grooves, and subtle tool marks, pulling the pattern forward and enhancing every movement in the surface. This creates a deeper sense of dimension, shadow, and aged character that is not present in the unstained base.
